Introduction

Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company was established in Tabriz in 1968 as a special joint stock company with the participation of Romania in order to produce various types of tractors and industrial machines in the city of Tabriz on a land area of 400 hectares. UTB brand tractors started working. Since 1975, the production of these tractors has been gradually phased out and the production of MF tractors began with the participation of the British company Messi Ferguson. Over time, with the localization of tractor production technology, the company's products are produced and marketed under the domestic ITM brand.

Tractors in the range of 38 to 150 hp, which includes light, medium, semi-heavy and heavy tractors, has been able to account for more than 95% of the domestic market and is the largest manufacturer of tractors in the Middle East.
