Established in 1953, Margarine Co. is the first vegetable oil producer in Iran and is now the second largest producer in the country with a daily production capacity of 1,000 tons of edible oils. Located in the southeast of Tehran, the company has modern equipment, machinery, and laboratories for quality control. Margarine Co. has been granted a certificate of conformity to Codex International Standards by SGS Company of Switzerland, allowing it to supply its products - bearing the AFTAB, AFTAB GOLD, and KHOROUS brands - to the local market and countries in the Middle East, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
